Falling Gas Prices

Posted by Main Blog on Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

Although our economy is shaky, I am very thankful for the falling gas prices.  Gas prices are down a whopping 23% since July.  They can just keep falling in my opinion.

I have grown quite tired of gas stations price gouging us on a daily basis.  When gas prices range as much as 80 cents per gallon in a single city, something is very wrong.  Gas stations have far too much control over setting their prices.

I would love to see gas drop to $2.50 or less per gallon.  They would still be making a profit off consumers no doubt.  According to reports, decrease in consumer demand for gas will continue to push prices down within the next few weeks.  I just hope it lasts for a while.

I think we should all keep economizing and decreasing our use of gasoline like we have been when prices were so high.  That way they will have to keep prices down because demand will still be lower.   I very much enjoy spending less at the pump!
