Kids Christmas Lists
Posted by Main Blog on Thursday, October 23rd, 2008
Wow…it seems each year my kids’ wish list grows and grows! All the commercials geared towards toys bombard us daily. My daughter says, “I want that” each time one of them airs. It just makes me weary with all of the junk that is shoved at us.
Halloween is not even past yet, and Christmas stuff is already out in stores. Let us breathe already! I can honestly say that in this economy, Christmas will be short and sweet at our house. I have limited the kids to one nice toy/gift each. Seriously. Christmas is not about gifts anyway, it is our Savior’s birthday. That is the important thing for us to remember.
My daughter has been looking at dollhouses dilligently. She says that is really what she wants. She hasn’t been specific as to what type of dollhouse she is interested in.
My son is begging for an X Box 360 or a PS3. Naturally as a teen, his wishes are quite expensive unfortunately.
Nonetheless, they will have to downsize their wishes this year as we just do not have the money.

Something they want
something they need
something to wear and
something to read
There will be other things under the tree but they sure do think carefully if they can only choose 1 thing in each category.

Just saw your note and thought you might be interested in this site. There are many dollhouses to choose from, discounted prices and well established. We are an article that can help you choose what kind of dollhouse or kit, your daughter would love.

We are having a “small” christmas this year, but only in regards to gifts. I am planning all kinds of activities for the family, and we are going to be spending a lot of time together. I am so sick of the crazy run around christmas seasons of the past.
