Anna’s Life

and I just had to write about it.  I was coming home from taking my kids to school and came upon a school bus stopped picking up children.  There was a dog waiting at the stop with its family.  When the children were all loaded and the school bus was still stopped the dog walked in front of the bus, I thought to cross the street and go home.  But I kept watching, and the dog walked along side the bus towards the back looking all around and sniffing.  The dog came to the back of the bus and did the same.  The dog was looking for its family that just boarded the bus. The dog then went back up the side where they loaded.

The bus then began to move and turned immediately right and the dog followed.  I drove very slowly not knowing exactly what the dog might do next.  The bus picked up speed as did the dog running along behind the bus in the road.  The bus slowed and made a left turn about a block ahead onto a less busy street where the school was located and the dog crossed the street and kept following the bus.

That was so sweet and so cute.  I was glad the dog had made it to the less busy street where cars would not be going so fast.  As an animal lover, I try to always watch out for animals when driving and when possible.  Dogs truly are man’s best friend.   How can anyone mistreat an animal?
