Braces

Well, it isn’t enough that my 9 year old daughter has so much going on in her life dealing with learning disabilities, OCD, ADHD, …but now she is getting braces. We were hoping we could hold off on this for a few more months, but two of her permanent teeth are on the verge of becoming impacted.
So, we have started with the spacers this week. She has whined and whined. I really dread it when the braces go on with the palate widener to boot. She will be miserable. Poor thing.
Financially, this was something we really wanted to wait a few months if possible because our 13 year old son just got braces in January this year. $$$$ Ouch!!! I was not looking forward to having two in braces.
Our lives are never dull!
