There is no place like Outer Banks for summer fun! Islands Magazine has picked the Outer Banks of North Carolina as one of their Best Islands Close to Home for 2009! Away.com has named the Outer Banks a Top Ten Budget Beach Vacation!

Word is out that our barrier island communities are affordable, friendly and full of stuff to do. Remember, our beaches are free to access and free to park!
