Can you believe that Branson’s live music entertainment industry turns 50 this year? And 2009 also marks the 50th anniversary of Branson’s first show, The Baldknobbers.
In 1959, the Mabe brothers started entertaining visitors in downtown Branson that came to the Ozarks to enjoy the outdoors and the lakes. Little did they know that Branson would become the “Live Music Show Capital of the World!”
