Low Carb Dieting

I decided to give Low Carb a chance.  I knew I needed to get my weight back down, but dreaded dieting again.  It gets old fast.  I usually keep a pretty good check on my weight and just work on it if I put on a few pounds.

Based upon a friend’s recommendation, I bought the book “The Carbohydrate Addict’s Diet” a few weeks ago.  I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the plan was to use. 

You basicaly follow low carb for two meals and then if you want you can have a free meal each day to eat absolutely anything you want as long as you do it within 60 minutes so your body only releases insulin one time.

I started on November 9 and it is now November 28.  I am down 20 lbs already! It was really easy too.  I am so excited.  I had planned to reach that milestone by Christmas and I am 4 weeks ahead of schedule! How cool is that? I have set my next little milestone to be at 35 lbs by Christmas.  Hopefully I will make that one too. Then I will be at my halfway mark.  :)

Check out the book…it is a great way to lose weight.  Remember to drink lots and lots of water!

    Ok, I definitely need to check this out. I am diabetic, so it would probably be an awesome diet for me to follow…you think?
