My name is Anna and I am a Registered Radiologic Technologist who has worked 3rd shift for the past 9 years so I could have more time at home with my two children and husband. Although it takes a toll on my sleep, overall, it has worked out great for our family because I am home days and can pick up the kids or take them to wherever they need to go afterward or during school.
I completed my Bachelor’s Degree while working 3rd shift and can happily say that it took NO time away from my family. It was a great experience and I thoroughly enjoyed Kaplan University. I highly recommend it to anyone wishing to complete their academic goals. Online schools are the way to go. I maintained a 4.0 GPA and took more than the recommended two classes per term. I found I really enjoyed utilizing my time management skills and usually completed each class 1-2 weeks ahead of schedule. I found it to be quite satisfying to go back to school and complete my degree on my on terms and time schedule. I graduated Suma Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Management with a healthcare emphasis from Kaplan University.
I would like to venture out of the hospital setting and be able to utilize my new skills and learning soon.
I love animals and currently have 3 rescue cats: Buttercup, Dutchess, Princess Leah and 1 rescue dog that is a beagle mix named Lilly.
