Two days later I checked to see if it was delivered and it was.  The company tells me they never received the check and this is going on 3 weeks now.  The USPS is investigating.  Meanwhile, my credit union dispersment check is just out there in la-la land.  I don’t know about you, but that always makes me nervous.

After being on the phone with the company, the USPS, and the credit union numerous times over the past few weeks I grew tired of the whole matter.   I called the credit union to stop payment on the check as I planned to just cancel the order. 

The credit union informed me that I could indeed do a stop payment, but it would cost me $28 and they would have to reissue another check made out to the same company.  Because I do not have a checking account with the credit union and only a savings, they cannot redeposit the money back into my account.   What the heck?

Well, once again, I will send the check out.  I chose Priority Mail because it is faster than the old Certified Mail where you actually have to have a signer for the letter.  I am wondering if I should just go with FedEx or something else.  I am very aggravated with the whole situation.

Many of the items I had ordered have now sold out.  Grrrr…..

If I did my job like these people, I would not have a job!

I like to make sure gifts are something that the person likes and will actually use.  I really spend a lot of time deciding what to buy for gifts to make sure it is a perfect fit.  I guess I am quite anal about the gifts I give.  Maybe it is my OCD. 

Anyway, I have looked around quite a bit for my mom’s gift.  There are so many types of espresso machines and coffee grinders it is quite confusing for someone such as myself a non-coffee drinker.

I have always loved looking at wedding and engagement rings.  They are so gorgeous! I have my 16th anniversary coming up soon and I have dropped several hints about wanting an anniversary ring this year.  Not sure if he took my hints or not, but I really hope so. I guess I would really just prefer he take me shopping to help pick it out.

Since I have allergies to wearing any kind of earrings now, I really enjoy getting bracelets and rings.  Hint! Hint!

I am hoping to be able to bring my balance back up again to at least $200 or so to cash out one more time before our vacation.  There is nothing like having a pocketful of Disney gift cards that you earned shopping on Sunshine Rewards.  I love having that extra spending money when we are at Disney World!
